Berlin. Kreuzberg. Crude concrete. Steel grating. Neon.
"It's your story that is being told here" - the quote by Karl Marx from the socio-economic critique 'Das Kapital' could not have found a more suitable place in Berlin. The settlement, built by Werner Düttmann (the German architect, planner and painter) is known throughout the city as the center of various nationalities and religions. The neighborhood is also widely regarded as an example for the integration of contrasts. The story is written. One must simply watch from above.
The neon letters are realised in our wild typeface in warm white, and can be seen as part of an exhibition at the Neuer Berliner Kunstverein starting this summer. Good luck Constanze.
