The 27 years old photographer from Munich depicts biographical moments. From the drug addiction of the father to the suicide of his own sister, his art draws inspiration from intense life momentums.
But Simon Lohmeyer grew up inspired by the hippie movement and wants his art to have and transcript a positive result mirroring what Hippies have fought for : world peace. From which he grasps the exhibition title: Pease Please. In a work sometimes paradoxical, Lohmeyer offers a content to the light and brightness of neon.
